articleThe revision to the PPE Directive, the original drawn up in 1989, has been adopted by the European Commission as a proposal for debate in the European Parliament and in the Council. The Parliament is currently in election mode and the proposal is unlikely to be discussed before the autumn of 2014, but the working groups who will review its implications are already underway.
