The future of air quality monitoring
Just as the demand for better air quality in towns and cities grows, public sector budgets are diminishing, so the need for better, more effective, lower cost monitoring has never been greater.
Portable particle monitors
Air Monitors has launched a new range of advanced monitors that improve the flexibility with which measurements can be undertaken.
Air monitoring
Air Monitors has launched three ambient air quality monitoring instruments.
Growth prompts premises move
Following a succession of service contract wins and rapid growth in sales of new air monitoring products, Air Monitors has moved to new larger, more modern facilities.
Gas alarm system
Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) is an odorous gas, reminiscent of rotten eggs. With an odour threshold between 0.005 ppm and 1.5ppm, relatively low levels of Hydrogen Sulphide can result in complaints if industrial plants generate exposure at these levels.
Nanoparticle detector
Traditional methods for measuring airborne particulate matter measure particle mass per unit air volume, usually with an upper size limit of x microns (PMx etc.).

Perfect Storm for air monitors
Following the Supreme Court’s recent judgement, the new Government will have to take urgent action to reduce urban pollution and to instigate monitoring regimes that are able to demonstrate success or failure of the new measures.
Tests passed
Air Monitors has announced that the
new TEOM 1405-F and 1405-DF
