Manufacturing

heightec is a UK manufacturer with over 20 years' experience specialising in the design and manufacture of technical products for ascent, descent, work positioning, fall arrest and rescue.

Our equipment is designed with the highest margins of safety and tested beyond the requirements of international standards.

heightec products combine exceptional performance with superior strength and durability and are manufactured within the highest levels of quality control.

Since 1997, we have manufactured a complete range of specialist equipment for work at height and rescue including fall arrest and general personal protective equipment (PPE). Our portfolio of products includes harnesses, helmets, ascenders, descenders, fall arrestors, rope grabs, rope, lanyards, anchors & slings, pulleys, connectors, quadpods and rescue stretchers.

All our products are designed and adapted for specific situations and techniques - such as specialist rescue, tower climbing and rope access etc.

Specialist Training

heightec has a long and established history with height safety, we were pivotal in bringing “BS 8454 Code of Practicefor delivery of training and education for work at height and rescue” into existence.

To date we have delivered over 100,000 training days, providing work at height and rescue training throughout the UK and across the world.We have a national network of dedicated Height Safety Centres withtraining venuesin Aberdeen, Leeds, Kendal, London, Birmingham and Kelvedon (Essex), giving clients the convenience of choice, reducing downtime and minimising cost.

With a combined floor area of over 45,000 square feet, our centres comprise a diverse and comprehensive range of indoor training environments delivering a full portfolio of courses for all industries who work at height. Courses are specifically designed to ensure candidates become competent and confident in their respective activity by providing a balanced mix of knowledge and practical based training.

heightec are IRATA and Global Wind Organisation (GWO) approved training providers and our telecoms courses are approved by ARQIVA and the Mast and Tower Safety Group (MATS). Our MATS and ARQIVA approved telecoms courses include Energy and Utility Skills registration (EUSR).
