New qualification
The British Safety Industry Federation are rolling out the “Safe Supply” Training and Publicly Accredited Qualification for commercial operators in the safety and PPE market.
BSIF Registered Safety Suppliers already leading the way in providing quality, compliant, fit for purpose PPE and associated safety products will now be able to demonstrate the capability of their customer facing staff to clients.
This is the only accredited qualification designed for professionals, selling and marketing PPE in the UK.
Professional users of PPE expect more than just product from suppliers and the Safe Supply training and qualification helps to develop the level of market knowledge, expertise and confidence necessary to support clients.
The Safe Supply Qualification covers 4 key learning modules from the Principles of Legislation in the Safety and Health Market, Understanding how Occupational Safety is Managed by Clients, Principles of CE Marking and Product Standards to the Principles of Market Surveillance in the Safety and Health Market.
This is an Ofqual level 2 qualification for staff within BSIF member companies.
