HUNTER APPAREL Solutions Limited (Hunter) is delighted to announce that our CEO Simon Hunter has been selected to receive the Member of the British Empire (M.B.E) Award during the course of 2020.

This means that Simon will attend an award’s ceremony at Buckingham Palace during 2020 where he will officially receive his M.B.E. medal which he can then wear at official functions going forward. Simon has been awarded his M.B.E specifically for ‘Services to Business and the Economy’, in recognition of having made a positive difference in that regard.
On receipt of his listing in the national media for his M.B.E. Simon said, “This is huge honour for me personally, my family and the wider Hunter business. I feel very fortunate to have received this recognition and feel truly inspired by it.”
Simon is the third generation of the Hunter family to run the Hunter Company who are a Professional Clothing company who specialise in “Tech for Good” solutions for its niche market place and is the leading software technology pioneer in the Professional Clothing sector. The Company has been in business since 1936 and is a multi-award winning provider of valued added service software technology, in house designed bespoke technical apparel/PPE and a specialist cleaning and decontamination services provider.
Simon is also one of the founding directors of the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW), is a Chartered Director and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, as well as being a National level multi award winning Director including the Institute of Directors winner of the UK Overall Director of the year award.
