Jaimie Sneddon, SHEQ and facilities manager at Kärcher, said: “From our head office in Banbury, we ensure that the facilities provided for our staff and visitors over our three locations are maintained to a high standard. In order to do this we have a variety of contractors assisting us with our maintenance, decorating and security requirements. Health & safety has always been at the forefront of what we do and having worked with SafeContractor for a number of years, it felt like a natural step to in our aim for continuous improvement.

“Kärcher UK has always been characterised by ingenuity and innovative thinking. The time and resources that we are able to save from implementing SafeContractor means that we can now focus more time on continuing to improve Health and Safety in other areas of the business.”

Gemma Archibald, managing director of Alcumus SafeContractor, said: “We’re delighted to support Kärcher UK as part of our contractor community, and now also with their supply chain management. SafeContractor will provide the peace of mind that their contractors health & safety practices are compliant with the law and that they are working to the highest standards. We wish Kärcher UK Ltd continued success in everything they do.

“While many supply chains are being disrupted at the moment, health and safety standards should not be compromised. Furthermore, strides towards quality, environment and sustainability goals should not be needlessly undone. Access to the SafeContractor community of over 33,000 approved contractors and suppliers means that organisations can eliminate single points of failure in the supply chain to safeguard against business disruption, ensuring business continuity.

“More than 450 leading organisations, including many of the UK’s leading manufacturers, have selected SafeContractor to become safer, healthier and stronger.”
