Health and Safety Matters Podcast - Episode 42

EPISODE 42 of the Health and Safety Matters Podcast is now available and features an interview with Cromwell's Peter Smart about all things PPE.

Podcast host Mark Sennett also covers the latest industry news including BSIF urges businesses to review PPE stock, IOSH calls for Government action to protect gig workers. He also shares his thoughts on the demise of Anticipate London/Safety & Health Expo and the Safety and Health Practitioner.
In addition, Mark also previews Health and Safety Matters Live, which takes place on 4 June 2025 at the Coventry Building Society Arena. HSM Live Coventry is a one-day, free-to-attend conference and exhibition, which is also co-located with a NEBOSH alumni event. The event offers the perfect opportunity to network with 450+ OSH professionals, while also enjoying free parking, free lunch and free tea and coffee throughout the day.
There will be 11 CPD accredited seminar session on offer including an opening address by Health and Safety Executive chair Sarah Newton and a mock trial delivered by leading health and safety law firm DAC Beachcroft where the audience will be the jury.
