Sportswear-inspired stretch trousers

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

The worlds of workwear and sportswear intermingle and inspire each other more than ever, resulting in clothes that blend durability and ruggedness with pre-shaped design, stretch panels and high function.

Adhering to this strong trend, Fristads Kansas has developed two new innovative stretch trousers – craftsman trousers 2530 CYD and service trousers 2526 PLW. CRAFTSMAN TROUSERS 2530 CYD.

The 2530 CYD are described as very comfortable trousers designed for craftsmen who want impressive freedom of movement and great functionality. The trousers are made of cotton and polyester combined with an elastic and durable stretch fabric. CORDURA-reinforced pockets, knees and leg ends are said to ensure excellent durability. Practical pockets also make for an efficient workday.

The 2530 CYD is a new addition to the popular Gen Y family. These service trousers are made of lightweight and durable material and feature stretch panels for great comfort and freedom of movement. A casual design makes the trousers suitable both for work and spare time activities. A mobile phone pocket and inside ruler pocket are practical additions.

“User tests have shown that the trousers have a very high quality in terms of freedom of movement, durability and usability, which is very pleasing,” says Fristads Kansas product manager Lene Jul.
