DENIOS appoints new UK MD

DENIOS, a specialist in the supply and manufacture of hazardous material storage solutions and work safety equipment, has appointed James Jenkinson as managing director of UK & Ireland operations.

Based at DENIOS UK’s office and manufacturing plant in Newport, Shropshire, Jenkinson will lead a growing team to capitalise on DENIOS’ strength in the UK market and continue to diversify into new sectors. DENIOS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the German group DENIOS AG.

Jenkinson brings a wealth of sales and general management experience gained through a long and successful career spent in manufacturing/engineering in the plastics & rubber, chemical, automotive and other industries.

Jenkinson said: “15 Years after its formation in the UK, DENIOS is at a very exciting stage in its development. We have a prominent market position, a strong management team in place, a healthy order book and extensive technical, design, engineering and supply chain support from Germany. With this background, it is clear that significant growth potential exists for the company in the UK and I look forward to leading the business through this next phase of growth.”
