Storage guides
asecos, a specialist in safe storage and handling of hazardous materials, has created five different storage guides explaining the basics of storage and defining which products best suit specific needs.
The guides are based on the current UK legislation and detail modern hazardous material storage legislation and guidelines. They reference the DSEAR Regulations (2002) and both HSG51 and HSG71.
The guides cover: acid storage (corrosion resistant); chemical storage; compress gas storage for internal use EN14470/2 up to 90 minutes protection; highly flammable and flammable solvent storage EN14470/1 up to 90 minutes protection; and background to storage legislation in the UK.
