Hear how to test

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

According to says Castle Group, bringing your audiometric hearing testing in house doesn’t require a medical professional to be present, all it requires is for a suitable person to be trained in competency to carry out the testing, in the long run saving vast amounts of your budget.

It isn’t difficult to learn, adds Castle Group, which is running an Audiometry Training Course on the 1st July in Scarborough, which aims to mould delegates into competent audiometric testers in the eyes of the HSE.

The three day practical course develops understanding of hearing loss and acoustics, educates on audiometry techniques and monitoring, and provides insight into analysis and categorisation so results can be understood.
