Course expansion
UTN Training, part of the AFI group of companies, has expanded the range of courses it provides by offering interactive health and safety e-learning courses in addition to its classroom-based courses.
Brian Kirkbride, AFI group training operations manager, said: “Our new
e-learning courses provide a more convenient alternative to traditional methods of learning because they can be completed at a time convenient to the employee and the business, and they reduce the employee’s time away from the workplace.”
Working in association with a web video production company, UTN is now delivering 15 courses ranging from £20 to £58 plus VAT. The courses include:Basic Legionella Management, Asbestos Awareness, Asbestos Awareness for Architects and Designers, Level 2 Food Safety for Manufacturing and Catering, Manual Handling, Basic Fire Awareness, Fire Extinguisher Training and Fire Marshal Training.
Courses designed to meet the needs of specific sectors are also available including: fire awareness and fire marshal training courses for care home operators and their staff and asbestos awareness for architects and designers.
