Detectable tools
To help food companies comply with approved third party audit and achieve certification Detectamet has developed what it claims is the biggest range of detectable tools and equipment in the world.
A German catalogue is now available to download from the company’s website: www.detectamet.co.uk and joins the French and Spanish versions. There are 69 pages of products to choose from ranging from ear plugs and shoe covers to plastic tools such as scrapers and stirrers, which can be seen with technical information and colour options.
These products are made using the company’s special detectable polymer so that if parts of the equipment break off into food then the standard metal detection and X-ray systems used in the food industry will identify and reject the contaminated products.
