Also on show will be the SVAN
977. Lightweight, robust and simple
to use, it measures and analyses
both Type 1 sound and vibration for
workplace health and safety and/or
environmental monitoring. It can
record results in three acoustic or
vibration profiles, so that
measurements can be performed
with three separate filters and
three distinct detector time
constants. Like the 971, the 977
provides broadband results with
all the standard weighting filters
and is said to offer an impressive
time/history logging capability.
