Fit tester team

JSP now has a team of eight Fit2Fit
accredited fit testers. The Fit2Fit
Scheme has been developed by the
British Safety Industry Federation
(BSIF) with industry stakeholders
and is supported by the Health &
Safety Executive (HSE). It aims are to
help ensure that Respiratory
Protective Equipment (RPE) is
suitable, that it is matched to the job,
the environment, the anticipated
airborne contaminant exposure level,
and, most importantly, the wearer.

JSP says that face fit testing by one
of its Fit2Fit accredited fit testers will
ensure that the wearer gets the best
possible protection from their mask,
as well as providing them with an
opportunity to get some training on
the use of RPE.
