Phoenix Health & Safety and Health & Safety Matters have launched their 2026 Health & Safety Capability Survey, inviting health and safety professionals and organisations to share their experiences of managing workplace safety, competence and emerging risks.

The annual study aims to explore how organisations are managing their health and safety responsibilities, what is working well and where businesses are experiencing pressure. It will also examine how confident organisations are in the ability of their current arrangements to withstand scrutiny.

Respondents are asked to complete the survey with reference to the main organisation in which they work or provide health and safety support. Those supporting multiple organisations should select one organisation they know well and answer consistently throughout.

The survey takes approximately eight minutes to complete, with responses analysed and reported in aggregate. Written responses may be quoted anonymously, while Health & Safety Matters will not receive any raw survey responses.

Participation is voluntary, and respondents are advised not to include names, confidential information or identifying details in their answers.

Those completing the survey can enter a prize draw for the chance to win one of four £150 Amazon vouchers.
