Tilsatec celebrates 25 years

Posted on Tuesday 15 September 2026

FOUNDED IN 2001, 2026 sees Tilsatec celebrate 25 years in business. The milestone provides an opportunity to look back at some of the people, products and developments that have helped shape the company into what it is today.

From its early beginnings to the technologies that remain at the heart of its products, Tilsatec’s journey has been shaped by innovation, expertise and its people.

As a thank you to the team, many of whom have been with the company from the start, Tilsatec held a celebration to mark the occasion and give everyone the opportunity to reminisce on everything the business has accomplished along the way.

25 years of innovation and expertise

Innovation has been an integral part of Tilsatec since the beginning. From developing technical yarns and materials in-house to creating high-performance hand and arm protection, the company’s expertise has continued to shape the products it delivers today.

Over the last 25 years, Tilsatec’s knowledge and experience have grown alongside the industries it works with. The company continues to use this expertise to develop practical, wearable, high-performance protection that meets the needs of workers across a wide range of industries.

This journey began with Tilsatec’s very first products, developed for the automotive industry and heavy metal stamping and pressing customers. Since then, the company has continued to innovate, developing award-winning extreme cut and impact protection and bringing new technologies to industrial hand protection with Collide-x.

The 25-year milestone also provides an opportunity to look back at the brand’s humble beginnings and its evolution from Tilsa-Technical to Tilsatec Rhino, before giving RhinoYarn its proper place as the company’s proprietary yarn technology and ingredient brand.

This sits alongside the current, contemporary brand identity that customers and partners have become familiar with. The current logo mark itself has an interesting connection to the company’s yarn engineering expertise. It is based on a bird’s-eye view of an S-curve yarn composition, a structure used extensively in Tilsatec’s yarn engineering processes, demonstrating that yarn expertise remains at the core of everything the company does.

Looking ahead

As Tilsatec looks to the next 25 years and beyond, the company expects to see new opportunities, growth and innovations, alongside some challenges.

The industries it serves will continue to evolve, bringing new hazards, applications and wearer needs that require new approaches to continue delivering best-in-class hand and arm protection.

From everyone at Tilsatec, the company would like to thank its customers and partners who have been part of the journey so far. They have all played a part in shaping the business Tilsatec is today.
