Visitors to the RRC Training stand
at Health & Safety North will be able
to discuss the NEBOSH diploma day
release course which starts in
January at Lancashire College in
Chorley. It will be delivered by RRC’s
North West team, Gordon and
Rowena.
Gordon is a former principal
examiner for Unit A of the diploma
and Rowena is the current principal
examiner for Unit B. Unit A is taught
over 15 consecutive Tuesdays
commencing 22nd January 2013,
with Unit B commencing 24th
September 2013 for 10 days. Unit C
will start in Spring 2014.
The course expands RRC’s
repertoire in the North West, with a
comprehensive range of NEBOSH,
IOSH and IEMA courses now
available throughout 2013. RRC’s
courses are also available in the UK
in London, Birmingham and
Newcastle, and worldwide in
Bahrain, Dubai and Istanbul.
RRC head of training and diploma
lead tutor Dr David Towlson
commented: “Gordon and Rowena
are nice people, so we’ve decided to
let them out for one day each week
to meet the public. No, seriously,
they love teaching and this day
release programme is perfect for
those who find the diploma all a bit
too much in one go.” Stand 25
