The partnership brings together BSIF’s expertise in workplace health and safety, particularly within respiratory protection, with WFF’s knowledge and representation of worktop fabricators, creating a stronger platform for collaboration, education and the sharing of industry best practice.

Both organisations recognise the importance of ensuring that businesses and their employees have access to the latest guidance, practical information and resources to help manage workplace risks effectively.

Through the partnership, BSIF and WFF will work together to:

• Promote higher standards of health and safety across the worktop fabrication sector with focus on Respiratory risk awareness and appropriate protection.
• Share practical guidance and information on workplace safety.
• Support businesses in understanding and implementing effective risk-management measures.
• Raise awareness of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety controls.
• Encourage the adoption of recognised industry standards and best practice.
• Provide opportunities for greater collaboration, knowledge sharing and engagement across the sector.
