Protection, not isolation

Laboratories, Noisebreaker custommoulded
hearing protection
products are made from a medicalgrade
soft silicone rubber. Reported
to be very comfortable and cost
effective, they have a through
channel with a filter that allows
speech frequency sounds through to
a much greater extent than the
damaging middle-high frequencies.

The wearer is therefore very
comfortably protected but not
isolated.

Thanks to the throughhole
in the ‘earplug’, a
person is not completely
isolated from their
surroundings and
conversations and warning
signals may be heard.

Custom-made earplugs
such as Noisebreakers can
be comfortably worn under
helmets or breathing
apparatus. With a long life
expectancy and no moving parts to
wear out, such products are said to
be very cost effective over time.

Because custom-moulded
earplugs made from a soft rubber
are a perfect fit to each ear, there
should not be any problems of poor
fitting or discomfort and therefore
they tend to give laboratory
