Knights Brown and Stocksigns streamline site signage supply

Posted on Thursday 18 June 2026

CIVIL ENGINEERING and construction specialist Knights Brown has partnered with Stocksigns to streamline the procurement of essential safety signage for its sites through a bespoke online ordering process.

Knights Brown works on a wide range of projects in some of the most challenging sectors including coastal defence, energy, water and infrastructure as well as commercial, industrial and public sector developments. Working across a number of live sites at any one time, Knights Brown requires a trusted signage supply partner that can deliver consistency, efficiency and reliability at scale to meet the contractor’s continually evolving needs.

The partnership originally began over a decade ago. Andy Norman, Key Account Manager at Stocksigns explains why it has endured: “The relationship between Stocksigns and Knights Brown continues to evolve, driven by shared values, efficient processes and our commitment to supporting fast paced needs. Today, the partnership is stronger than ever, built on collaboration and innovation.”

Managing signage across multiple projects can be time consuming. Following discussions with the Knights Brown team, Stocksigns developed a solution – a bespoke online ordering portal tailored specifically to Knights Brown’s requirements. This platform allows site teams to quickly select approved signage and place orders. The portal has significantly reduced administrative time, improved ordering accuracy and ensured consistency across all sites.

Pam Andrews, Assistant Buyer at Knights Brown said: “Stocksigns is a pleasure to work with. They are always quick to respond to requests for quotes and consistently strive to meet delivery dates, even when timescales are demanding. The bespoke online ordering portal has made ordering significantly quicker and more efficient for our site teams. Having a dedicated account manager who understands how we work has allowed the relationship between Knights Brown and Stocksigns to flourish.”

In addition, Stocksigns has ensured that Knights Brown has a dedicated account manager to provide a single point of contact, allowing Stocksigns to fully understand Knights Brown’s processes and operational requirements.

Andy explained the advantages of this approach: “Over time, I’ve got to know their team well, and our working relationship feels completely integrated. The consistency of a single point of contact has strengthened the working relationship and ensured we can achieve fast responses to quotation requests, proactive support and smooth delivery, even when timelines are challenging.”

Sustainability has also been a key consideration in the relationship. Knights Brown’s commitment to using environmentally responsible products is reflected in Stocksigns’ focus on reducing its own environmental impact and supporting customers to do the same. This includes using PVC-free recyclable materials and reducing emissions through renewable energy and optimised deliveries. This shared focus supports Knights Brown’s wider CSR objectives and reinforces the long-term value of the partnership.

With strong foundations already in place, Stocksigns and Knights Brown are continuing to develop the partnership and exploring further opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and sustainability performance.
