Vynagrip matting from Plastic
Extruders has been installed for the
safety of workers at Alan Bartlett and
Sons, a family-owned farm in
Cambridgeshire, which specialises in
large scale carrot and parsnip supply.

The matting has been laid along
the production lines where pickers
inspect the vegetables as well as beside
the cutting and packing machinery.

Vynagrip was chosen as the existing
chequer plate floor was not only
uncomfortable for the workers who
spend long hours standing, but also
slippery when wet.

In this situation, Vynagrip’s
cushioning properties give added
underfoot comfort while its deeplyetched
surface makes it highly slip
resistant, while its open grid
construction allows liquid spills and
production waste to fall through.
