Approved for ATEX Zone 22

Two AC37AV-CFA heavy duty
ATEX Approved vacuum cleaner
units have been installed at British
Gypsum, Barrow Works in
Leicestershire. The Company called
in Nilfisk-CFM when one old
vacuum unit in use was beyond
economic repair. A second machine
in use was being hired at
considerable cost.

The two new vacuum cleaner
units were required as a ‘front end’
to a network of existing pipes
within the multi-floor grinding mill
and mixing tower. The mixing
tower is classified as Zone 22 and
requires ATEX Approved vacuum
cleaners for the safe removal of
potentially explosive dusts. Both
units supplied are tested and
certified for use in an ATEX Zone
22 environment.
