Training business expansion

Just months after acquiring the assets
of Instant Training, AFI has further
expanded its training business by
acquiring the trade and assets of UTN
Training. Based in Wakefield in the
same building as AFI’s headquarters,
UTN Training has operated for 16
years, delivering a range of safetyrelated
courses. The business will
continue to operate from these
premises and
also retain its
name.

AFI Training
is one of the UK’s largest providers of
IPAF and PASMA working at height
courses and has over 20 training
centres in the UK. The enlarged AFI
and UTN safety-related training
business includes working at height,
abrasive wheels, manual handling,
asbestos awareness, forklift, site safety,
first aid, health and safety, confined
spaces and new roads and street
works.
