Roof safety solution

Safetyworks & Solutions has
provided a comprehensive roof safety
solution at The University of
Hertfordshire. The project involved
upgrading roof access and safety
systems on the McLaughlin Building.

Having carried out a site assessment,
Safetyworks & Solutions
recommended a new, improved
system that would enable operatives
to undertake maintenance tasks at
height safely and securely.

For edge protection and easy
movement around the roof areas,
242m of Easyguard free standing
handrails was installed. Installation is
rapid due to the easily assembled
design, with the base plates fitted
with bonded ribbed rubber mats.
