A new security keypad designed to

stopped powered access machines
from going missing at Heathrow
Airport. Keyzone is a robust
product from WorkZone, part of
the AFI group of companies.

Astins, fit out and cladding
contractor, has hired 31 AFI scissor
lifts to carry out a £10m dry lining
contract at Heathrow Terminal 2A
but had been plagued by other
contractors “borrowing” the
machines. However, since having
KeyZone security keypads fitted to
the machines, Astins has been able
to stop the problem immediately.

KeyZone is a standalone unit that
locks and unlocks the machine’s
upper control functions.
