In May 2011, a school in
Warwickshire contacted local
approved Belzona contractor, Arden
Construction regarding some steps
which were leaking and allowing
water to seep into a wash room
below. The steps allowed access to
the roof and it was vital all potential
slip hazards were eliminated.

Belzona recommended a high
performance barrier coating to seal
the steps. Belzona 5811 (Immersion
Grade), a two component epoxy
system commonly used to protect
immersed surfaces, was applied to
the steps and up the adjacent walls to
provide total encapsulation of the
concrete substrate.
