Tagging power sources that have
been deactivated for safety reasons is
an essential part of any Lock-
Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedure.

New Guardian Extreme write-on
tags from Master Lock have been
designed to provide years of
dependable use, even under the most
difficult conditions.

After locking-out a power source,
the operator notes the reason for the
deactivation on the tag using a
permanent marker. After use, the
message can be
easily erased using
a special cleaning
wipe.

Graphics on the
Guardian Extreme
tags are fused into
the industrial grade
polypropelene tag
itself, making the
tags invulnerable to
high humidity, dirt,
harsh chemicals,
oil and grease or washdown
environments. Guardian Extreme
tags can withstand a temperature
range of -45 to 104 degrees C and
have endured over 4000 hours of
QUV accellerated weather testing
with no fading or degradation of its
photo-quality finish. The tags can
withstand a pull force of 41kg –
almost double that of normal plastic
or paper tags.
