Up to speed with safety

Visitors to the Pilz stand (D814) at
Drives & Controls will benefit from
the advice of its team of machine
safety experts. They will give advice
on functional safety-related control
standards and applications, in
particular regarding the necessary
transition from EN954-1 to EN ISO
13849-1 and EN 62061.

Live demonstrations and free
copies of the latest version of the
Pilz ‘PAScal Safety Calculator
Software’ will also be available. The
sofware caters for both
Performance Level (EN ISO 13849-
1) and Safety Integrity Level (EN
62061) and produces technical
reports as required by the
standards.
