Selected by an independent jury
representing respected European
occupational health and safety
organisations, the 2011 recipients in
the five award categories are:

Visible Management Commitment
Cemex UK Operations
(construction) for Innovative
Approach
Dutco Balfour Beatty LLC (UAE)
(civil engineering) for Sustainable
Business Impact
Egypt Basic Industries Corporation
(industrial manufacturing) for
Cultural Evolution
Emirates Aluminium (aluminium
smelting) for Performance
Improvement
Both Anglo American and Cemex
UK Operations were recognised
specifically for projects involving
engagement with external
stakeholders.
