AFI-Uplift units have been in action
at the NEC to help principal
contractor, Interserve ,and a number
of sub-contractors carry out a refit to
Halls 1 and 2.

Interserve project manager, Mark
Ball, said key factors in the decision
to award the contract to AFI were
the company’s ability to respond
quickly with either a machine
replacement or a service engineer
visit in the event of a machine
breakdown, a strong commitment to
health and safety best practices,
competitive pricing, and a strong
training resource.

The 23 AFI machines were used to
carry out HVAC upgrades and
building management services work,
including installing new wiring and
electrical substations and upgrading
fire systems.
