Vehicle restraint system
STERTIL HAS announced the launch of its latest vehicle restraint system, the manually operated Combilok M1, designed to enhance safety and efficiency in loading bay operations.

Loading bay accidents caused by premature vehicle drive-off and trailer creep pose significant risks to personnel and goods. The Combilok M1 reduces these dangers by securely restraining trucks and trailers, ensuring a stable and controlled loading process.
The Combilok M1 features a hydraulic-free design, offering a straightforward installation and low-maintenance operation. Operating on a standard 230V power supply, it eliminates the need for three-phase connections, providing a cost-effective and reliable solution for a wide range of loading bay environments.
With a 150 kN pull-out force, a 370-430 mm restraining height, and a 3,200 mm blocking arm travel range, the M1 is built to accommodate various vehicle models, axle configurations, and wheel sizes.
Constructed from high-quality galvanised steel, the M1 offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring a long service life even in demanding loading bay environments.
Designed for seamless integration, the Combilok M1 is supplied with a Stertil control panel and traffic light and allows synchronised operation with loading bay doors and dock levellers.
The Combilok M1 joins Stertil’s expanding portfolio of vehicle restraint solutions, which cater to a variety of operational needs.
This includes the original Combilok, an automated system designed for secure and efficient loading, and the Combilok Swap, which provides a versatile, adjustable solution for swap body containers. Additionally, the recently launched Electric Wheelchok System offers a fully electric, automated alternative to traditional wheel chocks, further enhancing safety and efficiency in loading bay operations.
