Upcoming HSM CPD webinars
HEALTH AND Safety Matters has a number of webinars planned in the coming weeks that offer CPD to attendees and feature high profile speakers from the Health and Safety Executive, British Safety Industry Federation, BAFE and more.
On 28 April 2021, HSM is partnering with BSIF to host a PPE Digital Conference, which is free to attend and will offer six hours of CPD. The Conference will hear from senior staff members of the regulators, the Health and Safety Executive, the Office for Product Safety and Standards and Trading Standards. It will look at PPE applications – Head to Toe – where it is used to protect against the range of hazards faced by wearers. COVID-19 highlighted shortcomings in PPE supply and PPE quality and this digital conference seeks to identify what good PPE looks like and how it can be specified, sourced and supplied effectively, to keep users safe and well while they are at work.
The PPE conference will conclude with a comedy set from impressionist Alistair McGowan who will then announce the winners of the Safety & Health Excellence Awards. Delegates will also be able to network with each other in the networking lounge and see videos, download key information and live chat with the BSIF and sponsors in the Awards Sponsors Area.
