Cost-effective, wearable single gas detection
ION SCIENCE has launched a new range of very cost-effective, disposable single gas detectors which are exclusively available from Shawcity in the UK and Ireland. With a launch price starting from just £87 + VAT per unit, ARA is one of the most attractively priced single gas units on the market.
Low maintenance and easy to use, the wearable ARA instrument is ideal for worker safety and compliance in terms of monitoring exposure to toxic gases, as well as oxygen enrichment and depletion.
ARA is designed to be worn by on-site workers and contractors throughout daily shifts and is ideal for a variety of applications such as site-wide safety, plant shutdown processes and first response safety. The small, lightweight gas detector comprises six models, including four gas types: Hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, oxygen and sulphur dioxide.
The ARA is easy to use with a one-button operation. Once switched on, it will run continuously for two years displaying real-time readings and instantaneous alarms to protect the workforce within hazardous environments.
The carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide options are also available in hibernation models, where the device can be placed on standby to extend the battery life to up to three years.
