Tilsatec cut level E glove upgraded for 2021

Posted on Tuesday 23 February 2021

THE EVER popular 15 gauge 55-5120 glove from Tilsatec has been updated for 2021. Now delivering maximum level 4 abrasion resistance to EN388:2016, as well as level E cut protection, it’s also approved for food contact to EU Regulation 10/2011 plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

A powerful combination of hand protection, the 55-5120 is ideal for site or machine maintenance in a food production environment or any work area which needs to ensure no contaminants to food or food packaging. Lightweight and offering 360 degrees breathability the glove is extremely dexterous with high level tactility and fingertip sensitivity.

2021 is also the company’s anniversary celebrating 20 years of Tilsatec. The business is built on over 140 years of heritage in the parent company, which has been on the same site in Wakefield since 1880. Tilsatec Advanced Textile Materials was born in 2001 and the company has since grown into a leading global supplier of hand and arm protection with an independent UKAS accredited mechanical testing laboratory and members of the BSIF Registered Safety Supplier Scheme.

With strong ambitious plans for 2021 and beyond, exciting new product categories to be launched later in the year and expansion of the UK and European sales teams, Tilsatec are continually working to improve how they serve and protect customers.
