BSIF Safety Awards entry deadline approaches

The deadline for the BSIF Safety Awards 2011, held at the Safety and Health Expo is fast approaching and potential entrants are now being urged to submit their entries by Friday 4th March 2011.

The awards have been taking place for ten years and are the only awards to promote the importance of innovation and underline the highest standards of excellence within occupational health & safety.

The awards are made up of three categories: Product Innovation – new and innovative products that contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health; Service Awards – award for companies in the safety field offering exceptional and innovative service solutions; and Safety Excellence (this award is open to BSIF members only) – recognises major improvements in occupational safety created in 2010/2011. The first two awards are open to every organisation in the health and safety spectrum. Entry for BSIF members is £80 + VAT, while non-members are charged at £160 + VAT.

The awards are judged by a panel of eminent safety industry personalities and the winners will be revealed at the RoSPA Safety Awards Dinner, in front of over 500 key industry safety users. The awards will give the winning manufacturers and suppliers pride of place at the event as well as contribute to the winners’ standing and respect within the sector.
