Following the launch of its Identicom
mobile for Blackberry smartphones,
Connexion2, manufacturer of the
Identicom lone worker device
(LWD), has launched a new version
of Identicom mobile for use with
Windows Mobile smartphones.

Offering the majority of the
functionality available on the
standard Identicom LWD, this new
version utilises the touch screen
features developed by Microsoft for
mobile operating systems, which is
used by many phone manufacturers.

The Windows Mobile version is
compliant with Section 5.2.1 of
BS8484 and is easy to install on all
Microsoft Windows smartphones
through a simple application
download process. This enables a
user to obtain the necessary help if
they become a victim of verbal
abuse; attack or they feel their safety
could be compromised.
