4-way relay unit
17 September 2018
Kentec, the life safety control systems manufacturer, has launched a 4-Way Relay Unit, aimed at both conventional and addressable extinguishing systems, to enable key maintenance to be undertaken without compromising safety.

The 4-Way Relay Unit enables third party systems (e.g HVAC, security, access control etc.) connected to the fire alarm panel to be isolated so that repairs and maintenance can be completed without compromising the integrity of the overall installation. Volt-free contacts mean voltages are kept completely separate, increasing overall system safety.
It features four pairs of up to 125VDC at 5AMPs or 250AC at 10AMPs rated relay contacts, housed in a robust sheet steel enclosure that can be operated using switch negative signals from up to four control panels. Isolated switches and status LEDs are provided for each relay.
