Cirrus recognised as a Registered Safety Supplier

Specialist noise measurement equipment manufacturer Cirrus Research is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a shield to identify it as a member of the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme (RSSS). Following compliance with a strict set of criteria, Cirrus will now be able to use the scheme shield to identify its organisation and products as 'genuine and safe'. Any company that does not comply with these standards risks losing its RSSS shield and possibly, membership of the BSIF.
Launched by the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) as part of its ongoing Counterfeit and Illegal products campaign, the scheme is designed to assist buyers of safety critical products find quality supply sources and offers assurance that the products supplied are genuine and properly tested and certificated.
James Tingay, group marketing manager, Cirrus Research comments: “Cirrus uses the latest scientific and technological developments to produce noise measurement equipment to accurately measure noise and its impact. We, like other manufacturers, are concerned about the influx of non -compliant and counterfeit and illegal merchandise on to the marketplace. With a wide range of products that can be used in a variety of applications, membership of the Registered Safety Suppliers Scheme and use of the official shield offers extra assurance to our customers that our products are safe and genuine.â€
