EDITOR'S COMMENT

Research from NEBOSH suggests an increasing number of health & safety managers are now also responsible for environmental issues. But the interpretation of 'environment' in this instance is up for some debate. Is it a question of managing issues in the work place environment such as indoor air quality, legionella adequate heating & lighting or are you tackling wider environmental issues such as stack emissions, energy efficiency and other factors? HSM would be interested to hear your experiences. Vote in this month's poll or send us your comments.
