Welcome to the latest issue of e:news from Health & Safety Matters

Health issues are under the spotlight this month as the DWP issues guidance on the implications of the Fit Note which is set to replace the traditional Sick Note in April. At the same time the TUC is urging employers to do more to promote good health and well-being in the workplace through the creation of 'good work', read full stories (right).

In this month's poll we are talking about first aid, following research by St John's Ambulance suggesting a lack of awareness over the need for trained first aiders.
