Safety posters in Polish
August 1st 2007 3M has launched a range of posters in Polish, aimed at highlighting the risks many migrant construction workers are potentially posing to their health by failing to deploy appropriate hearing and respiratory protection. To mark the launch of the poster campaign, the company is offering a free set of posters to the first 50 entrants to register on www.3m.co.uk/ppeposter. 3M's initiative echoes that of the Federation of Master Builders which has worked with the HSE to translate its leaflets into Polish. Vikki Nash, product manager, 3M occupational health & environmental safety division, says "The use of images and clear wording in our posters can leave no doubt as to what's been said and is a constant visual reminder around the workplace."
