LGH Training has changed its name from the Lifting Equipment Training Initiative to consolidate the identities of the Groups core businesses in line with the LGH brand and enable enhanced synergies across all divisions.

The companys Wilfred Manjengwa says that Puts Safety First is the Groups ethos and that this is reflected in all of its businesses, including LGH Training.

He explains With our new name comes a renewed commitment to providing the best in training to our customers and as such we have launched an online service offering customers real-time access to training records over the Internet.

Free of charge, the service is designed to make the management of refresher training needs a much simpler operation. Customers can view the training records of staff quickly and easily over the internet 24h a day.

A feature of the system is its ability to flag when an individual is due to be retrained.
