Training specialist Safety Media's website www.safetymedia.co.uk is now an official news site as recognised by Google.

The site is updated daily with news and information on all aspects of UK health and safety. It is said to be a fully-archived and categorised reference point.

Safety Media has fulfilled Google's strict criteria that determine whether a site can be included on Google News. Sites must: Have news content that is original to the site Not solely promote their own activities Be written and maintained by a clear organisation that has multiple writers and editors.

The site has a free Vista Gadget, which can be quickly downloaded to provide health and safety news directly to the desktop for every visitor who takes advantage of the news service.

RSS feeds are also available for those without Windows Vista using earlier versions of Microsoft Windows.
