Animated options June 1st 2007 Scriptographic Publications'
training booklets are coming
to life as computer-based,
animated products.
The Manual Handling
booklet in Classic and
Realstyle is the first title to
be animated and shows
correct lifting and carrying
movements in a way that
inert diagrams cannot.
Illustrations 'come to life'
and key points are
emphasised by a screen
character called Dave, who
talks the trainee through the
entire training process.
The initial range includes
a Polish version, and all can
be viewed from a single
workstation or accessed on
the Scriptographic website.
The company has also
launched a remote training
system called AIM, which
enables training and testing
to be conducted on-line.
A manager can initiate
training with an email and a
pre-training test. AIM will
then run the training on-line
with either the animation
hosted by Dave or a simple,
on-screen presentation of
