Passive fire protection

In conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board, the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) has set up a construction apprenticeship in passive fire protection.

Apprentices undergo training in the following subjects: knowledge and general awareness of the PFP industry, health and safety, security of the work and the surrounding environment, safe use of powered tools and equipment, and the erecting and dismantling of access equipment/work platforms.
