Recognised for asbestos training
June 1st 2008 Silverdell (UK) has
announced that following a
successful audit by the
general manager of UKATA
(The United Kingdom
Asbestos Training
Association), Silverdell
Academy for Excellence
(SAFE) has been awarded
membership.
This means that SAFE is
recognised by UKATA for
delivering asbestos
awareness and non-licensed
asbestos training to a
sufficiently high standard,
and to work alongside the
HSE's Asbestos Licensing
Unit in establishing the
highest possible industry
training standards for the
Association's members.
Chris Bishop, head of
training at SAFE, says "We
are extremely proud that
SAFE has been accepted as a
member, and we fully intend
to actively participate in
helping achieve the
Association's aims." |
