New for 2008
April 1st 2008

ATEX-notified body, Sira, has expanded its training portfolio into the wider health and safety arena by developing two new training courses to help organisations satisfy their legal health and safety requirements.

Fire Safety and Risk Assessment is a two-day course that concentrates on The Regulatory Reform (Fire safety) Order 2005. It looks at: Identifying hazards, conducting risk assessment for low/medium risk environments, and implementing strategies to satisfy The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

IOSH 'Managing safely' is a four-day course suitable for managers and supervisors in any sector. It is designed to get attendees up to speed on the practical actions necessary to handle health and safety in their teams.

The course looks at: Assessing and controlling risks, identifying hazards in the workplace, investigating accidents and incidents, and measuring performance and protecting the environment.
