Safety Media has available a video that is up to date on UK environment legislation on spill prevention and control.

Spill Prevention and Control – The Facts has been designed to: support a spill training course; provide a site induction program and provide refresher information.

With a running time of 23 minutes, this title provides information on the legislation applicable and what it covers, as well as providing information on chemical spills and how easily the liquid can get into the water supplies.

The roles of the first responder, supervisor, engineer and health and safety manager are supported by this title as they have the responsibility for safe working procedures and emergency response strategies.

The video contains information on the risk of non-compliant and poorly practiced spill control and identifies strategies to prevent unnecessary spills and what to do if it occurs.

The video costs Ł129, but is available on a FREE seven day trial.
