Securing a safe entrance February 1st 2007 Gripfit, has won a contract to double the size of the entrance matting for a major supermarket chain, without disrupting traffic flow. It will do this by fixing a secondary, securely surfacemounted mat beyond the existing mat well. The low profile, fixed aluminium frame system can be attached to any level, hard floor surface to hold a mat securely in place. The company's Ben Colbourne believes that wet and dirty entrance areas are not only unsightly, but are unwelcoming and unsafe, resulting in slips, trips and compensation claims. He says that in public buildings entrance matting is frequently too small and of inferior quality. More articles from Gripfit Ltd: |
